Product Information

The SkyTrak ST MAX is SkyTrak's most advanced launch monitor. It pairs a photometric camera system with dual Doppler radar in one compact unit that sits on the floor beside the ball, and it measures both ball and club data for every shot.

Ball and club data

ST MAX captures nine ball metrics (ball speed, launch angle, side angle, back spin, side spin, carry, total distance, descent angle and shot shape) and five club metrics (club head speed, smash factor, club path, face angle and face to path). A red laser dot shows exactly where to place the ball, and the hitting zone is roughly 10 × 10 cm.

Built for home simulators

Rechargeable lithium-polymer battery (about 4 hours per charge) and dual USB-C ports for charging and data at the same time.
Connects over Wi-Fi in Direct mode or through your home network (2.4 GHz), or by USB-C cable to a Windows PC.
Runs the SkyTrak app on iPad, Windows 10/11 (64-bit), Mac with Apple M1 or newer and Android. It also runs on iPhone, but course play is not available there.
Place it level with the hitting surface and parallel to your target line. SkyTrak recommends at least 3 × 3 m (10 × 10 ft) of unobstructed space and a golf net.

Software and membership

ST MAX works out of the box with basic range functionality. You register the unit within 30 days and can start a 14-day trial. Advanced features are part of SkyTrak's annual memberships: Essential (practice ranges, game evaluation, challenges), Core (course play with Foresight or Trackman courses) and Elite (both course libraries). Speed Training powered by GOLFTEC, skills assessments, bag mapping and the wedge matrix are part of these plans.
